Creating new .pst files in outlook 2003/2002/2000/98/97
Creating Pst file while outlook is running
Method 1:From File menu
Step1:Go to File->New->Outlook Data file
Step2:Click on Outlook data file
Step3:Click on OK
Step4:In File name column give anything like newpst...etc and clikc OK
Step5:In name field give anything,but it will be used Outlook 2003 All Mail Folders list.You can also select an encryption setting and a password for the .pst file.But you cannot change the encryption setting after you create the .pst file.
Once you do the settings ,Click OK
Step6:Now you can see your new pst as in the name DEMO
Step1:Go to tools ->E-mail accounts
Step2:Click on E-mail accounts
Step3:Select View or change existing email accounts and click next
Step4:Select the new personal folder you created (here it is DEMO) from the drop down menu under Deliver new e-mail to the following location and Click Finish.
Step5:Click on Ok and close your msoutlook and open it again.
There you can see the personal folder which you created (DEMO) with a home logo.
That means you have done it perfectly.
Metod2:From Tools menu
Go to tools -> E-mail accounts
Click on E-mail Accounts
Select View or change existing e-mail accounts and click next
Metod3:Outlook is not running
Go to start->setting-> control panel and mail
Click on mail Icon
Click on Data Files
Click on ADD and follow from the step3
Once its done you wil get window like below
